Buy when something is cheap and sell when things are good. (We tend to do the opposite in Ireland)

What is the most hilarious childhood memory you can think of?
Kerry’s All Ireland win in 1997 managed by the legend Paidi O Se. Who I later worked for in his Bar in Ventry. You could say he kickstarted my love for the Bar & Restaurant game.
What makes you feel young?
Being the youngest of 5 siblings.

To be able to earn a living and self-employed in Dingle.
What is your background?
The youngest of 6. Two brothers and three sisters. Born in 1990 in Ventry. Had a great upbringing on a family farm and also a home baking business called Cisti Ceann Trá whih is still in operation. I always had entrepreneurial aspirations. I have a degree in Agricultural Food Science. Having worked in the industry for two years while keeping one eye open for an opportunity to kick start my entrepreneurial career I started Dingle Electric Bike Experience in 2017 which has been very successful followed by James Long’s Gastro Pub in 2019 on Dingle pier serving fabulous food and drink with spectacular views of Dingle Harbour. At present I’m about to launch my third start-up Dingle Cask Creations.
